| Some old school bike components are just harder to find and when they’re as small as a chain link, looking for them is just a nuisance. I luckily have access to a machine shop and machinist. Take this as a casual letter between two men. |

| Then it is installed. Yes, it doesn’t match the rest of the antiquated chain. I specifically requested stainless because its simply better. I couldn’t bare to make a part that failed on me before without making sure that it wouldn't fail again. In any case I’ve added a bit of character to it. |
