Cyclocrossing is to bicycle racing as rallying is to automobile racing. To these athletes the speed and technicality of road racing isn't enough, they add the unpredictability of mud, water, rocks and all sorts of terrains into the mix. If you find road racing too tame but like the speed and style of road bikes, try cyclocrossing out. Just make sure you and your bike are up for it.
