I’ve been taking the Calfee out for some rides this week and I have to say I didn’t particularly like it so far. It has the solid and blunt feel of an old Trek 5500 series bike, something that i feel comes with thick and over-braced carbon tubes. My main problem with the build right now, however, is the saddle –its a butt crusher for sure and I need to get it replaced before evaluating the ride further.
If you’re local to the socal area i suggest riding to the US Open of Surf in HB! SUN SAND AND.. surf galore!
